Being the first Chinese-specific nursing home in Victoria, we aim to provide a \u2018Home away from Home\u2019 for our residents being immigrants from overseas in an once \u2018foreign country\u2019 as they assimilated into an once \u2018foreign culture\u2019 in Australia. Our vision is to support our residents to embrace the beautiful Australian multiculturalism and keep their \u2018roots\u2019 in the Chinese culture, customs, and heritage.<\/p>\n<p>\u5bb6\u5c0d\u65bc\u83ef\u4eba\u4f86\u8aaa\u662f\u975e\u5e38\u91cd\u8981\u7684\uff0c\u5bb6\u6c38\u9060\u90fd\u662f\u6211\u5011\u7684\u907f\u98a8\u6e2f\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u53ef\u4ee5\u7121\u689d\u4ef6\u5730\u4fe1\u4efb\u8eab\u908a\u7684\u4eba\u4e26\u5f97\u5230\u4ed6\u5011\u7684\u652f\u6301\u3002\u5728\u5b89\u8001\u4e4b\u5bb6\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u6709\u50cf\u5bb6\u4eba\u4e00\u6a23\u89aa\u5207\u7684\u8077\u54e1\u548c\u8b77\u58eb24\u5c0f\u6642\u7167\u9867\u820d\u54e1\uff0c\u4e26\u6839\u64da\u820d\u54e1\u7684\u9700\u6c42\u53ca\u500b\u4eba\u559c\u597d\u5b9a\u5236\u5c08\u5c6c\u4ed6\u5011\u7684\u8b77\u7406\u65b9\u5f0f\u4ee5\u78ba\u4fdd\u6eff\u8db3\u4ed6\u5011\uff0c\u8b93\u5b89\u8001\u4e4b\u5bb6\u6210\u70ba\u4e00\u500b\u8212\u9069\u548c\u503c\u5f97\u88ab\u4fe1\u4efb\u7684\u5bb6\u3002\u5b89\u8001\u4e4b\u5bb6\u5c07\u4e0d\u65b7\u6539\u9032\uff0c\u5c07\u6211\u5011\u7684\u5bb6\u8b8a\u6210\u820d\u54e1\u7684\u5bb6\u5916\u4e4b\u5bb6\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u572819\u4e16\u7d00\uff0c\u5927\u91cf\u83ef\u4eba\u4f86\u6fb3\u5e0c\u671b\u6539\u5584\u751f\u6d3b\uff0c\u56e0\u6b64\u4ea6\u9700\u8981\u4e00\u500b\u4ee5\u83ef\u4eba\u70ba\u4e3b\u7684\u8001\u5e74\u8b77\u7406\u6a5f\u69cb\u3002\u5b89\u8001\u4e4b\u5bb6\u4e00\u76f4\u529b\u6c42\u9032\u6b65\uff0c\u81f3\u4eca\u5df2\u5b8c\u6210\u4e86\u6578\u500b\u64f4\u5efa\u9805\u76ee\uff0c\u4ee5\u6eff\u8db3\u6fb3\u6d32\u83ef\u4eba\uff0c\u7279\u5225\u662f\u5728\u7dad\u5dde\u7684\u4eba\u53e3\u589e\u9577\u3002\u5728\u806f\u90a6\u653f\u5e9c\u7684\u652f\u6301\u4e0b\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u7684\u8a2d\u65bd\u5f9e1985\u5e74\u768411\u5f35\u5e8a\u4f4d\uff0c\u52302013\u5e74\u80fd\u5920\u5bb9\u7d0d47\u5f35\u5e8a\u4f4d\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"story-content\"><h3>\u591a\u5143\u6587\u5316\u793e\u5340\u57fa\u790e\u8a2d\u65bd\u57fa\u91d1<\/h3><p>With the 500k grant from the Commonwealth Government, ECH was intended to start a new round of refurbishment in 2019 and was delayed to 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic that impacts globally. ECH has refreshed the living area by renewing the paint in residents\u2019 bedrooms, interior and external areas and introduced digital innovations in all areas of the facility. It greatly improved the quality of life of residents, particularly those who are presenting symptoms of Dementia, behaviors of concern, social isolation, depression, and other mental wellbeing issues which are associated with their CALD background.<br>With the support and blessings from the Department of Social Services then known as the Department of Health and Ageing \u2013 Commonwealth Government, the local Community especially our Chinese Ethnic Group, ECH will endeavor to ensure that the refurbishment will continue to serve the growing ethnic Chinese elders.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cp-timeline-content-timeline-child swiper-slide\"><div class=\"timeline-content icon-false\"><div class=\"timeline-block-timeline ctl-row  position-left\"><div class=\"ctl-6 timeline-block-time\"><div class=\"story-time\"><p>\u73fe\u5728<\/p><\/div><\/div><div class=\"timeline-block-icon\"><\/div><div class=\"ctl-6 timeline-block-detail\"><div class=\"story-details\"><div class=\"story-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/echinc.org.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Current.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/div><div class=\"story-content\"><h3>\u5c55\u671b\u672a\u4f86<\/h3><p>With the rejuvenated Board of Management composed of experts and professionals in their industry, Elderly Chinese Home continues to thrive.
